Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Pu-erh

Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Pu-erh is crafted from fresh leaves of ancient tea trees grown in Lao Ban Zhang Village, Bulang Mountain, Menghai County, Yunnan Province. These centuries-old tea trees thrive in pristine forests at an altitude of 1,600-1,700 meters, where fertile soil and an exceptional ecological environment contribute to the tea's superior quality.

Appearance: Tightly compressed reddish-brown strands with an oily sheen, featuring golden buds.

Aroma: Dominated by woody notes, complemented by the mellow, aged fragrance characteristic of well-fermented ripe Pu-erh.

Flavor: Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with a pleasantly mild bitterness that quickly transforms into sweetness.

Mouthfeel:

  • Initial sips reveal a sweet, smooth texture with a deep, luminous red liquor.

  • As steeping progresses, the flavor intensifies and becomes more complex, developing the quintessential ripe Pu-erh qualities of "thick, dense, rich, and velvety."
